1. The reason that sales people feel that training is a waste of time is two fold. First, they have received "Sales Training" in the past that didn't turn into results (this is most likely because they didn't implement what they learned, but we'll table that one for a future newsletter), and admitting that they need training feels like admitting weakness.

Seeking out training is not a sign of weakness, it's actually a sign of strength! Pursuing self-improvement shows that you are interested in getting better. It shows that you understand that the best can get "bester"! Remember, even Tiger Woods has a swing coach!

1. There is nothing more important than sales training! If you have big revenue goals, you must also have an unwavering focus on improving your sales team in order to accomplish those goals. By doing this, you can afford to hire the support staff that will handle the tedious tasks that once stole your focus from sales training.
