FREQUENTLY ASKED FRANCHISE QUESTIONS

What experience do I need to become an Honest Abe Roofing franchise owner?

Prior business operations or staff management experience is a plus, as is honesty, a passion for customer service, and being detail-oriented. Direct experience in a roofing, construction or similar business, especially in a sales role, is helpful but not required to open your own Honest Abe Roofing franchise. Current roofing contractors may, however, be considered as possible franchise candidates. No matter your background or experience, we’ll provide you the tools, training, and products you need to open a construction business and confidently sell roofing and other related services to your growing customer base.

What is provided as part of the Honest Abe Roofing program?

We will provide a pre-opening training program for franchisees and/or their designated managers at a corporate location. This program will last up to ten days, covering sales, customer service, recruiting and training new staff and subcontractors, using AbeConnect business software, scheduling, installation, repairs, networking, marketing, reporting requirements and more. In addition, we will present franchisees with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help run the business properly on a day-to-day basis. See www.https://www.honestaberoofingfranchise.com/training-support

How much will the Honest Abe Roofing program investment cost me?

The projected initial investment range for a single-territory, start-up business is between $98,870 and $252,684. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages. To learn more about the initial investment click here.

Is financing available?

Yes. Contact our team to find out more.

Are there ongoing fees to pay?

There is a royalty fee equal to 5% of gross sales, with minimum sales requirements to be met, and a brand development fund contribution of 2%. A technology fee is $150/month/user. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of product lines and supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.

Will I have any help advertising my new franchise?

Yes. We require that you invest $5,000 into your local marketing efforts. Although we only require that $5,000 be invested, we encourage you to invest more. Our most successful franchisees are investing over $20,000 every month. Why? Because IT WORKS! We produce all of the elements with the help of our advertising agency, POP MKTG.
