WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS

LOOK LIKE?

Once you submit your information below, one of our Franchise Advisors will reach out to begin your process toward being awarded a franchise.  There are six (6) steps within that process.

STEP 1:

Your journey toward being awarded an Honest Abe Roofing Franchise begins with a 60 minute initial interview and overview call.  This can be done over the phone or by Google Meets video conference.

  • You will learn about the reasons why investing in a franchise gives you an advantage over starting your own business from scratch.

  • You will also learn about the benefits of owning a franchise in the roofing industry (statistics, recession resistance, supply chain, average sale, who is in the market for a new roof, and more).

  • We will learn about you - Your Franchise Advisor will then determine if you meet the minimum requirements, and if you exhibit the personality traits that we're looking for from our ideal Franchise Business Partners.

  • Initial Investment

  • Your Potential Territory

STEP 2:

If your Franchise Advisor determines that you meet our minimum requirements, and you determine that Honest Abe Roofing Franchise meets your minimum requirements, you will schedule the second step.  Step 2 is another call that typically lasts 30 minutes.  During this call you will take a deeper look into the features, advantages and benefits of the proprietary Honest Abe Roofing Franchise business model.

  • Marketing

  • Sales

  • Human Resources

  • Construction Management

  • Apply for funding through one of our financing partners (only applicable if you do not have $300,000 liquid to invest)

  • Begin incorporating (only applicable if you wish to own your franchise using a corporation/LLC.)

STEP 3:

Once both you and your Franchise Advisor determine that it's time for you to move forward you will schedule a call with a member of the Franchise Approval Team.  This team consists of executive level leaders for Honest Abe Roofing Franchise.  This call is very informal and serves as a way for you to ask any questions that still remain unanswered, and as a way for our executive team to determine if you are qualified to move to the final steps.  Before moving to the next step, candidate must pass the following.

  • Criminal Background Check

  • Credit Check (690+ Avg)

  • Proof of Funds (Available/Financed)

STEP 4:

It's now time to draft the executable Franchise Agreement.  During this 60 minute call with your Franchise Advisor you will go over the Franchise Agreement that has all of your pertinent information included (territory description, corporation information, shareholders, etc.).  Once you're comfortable with the agreement, move to step 5.

STEP 5:

Now, it's your turn to shine!  You will give a 30 minute presentation to the Honest Abe Roofing Franchise Approval Team via Zoom.  Your Franchise Advisor will guide you through building a PowerPoint presentation that highlights the features and advantages that you bring to the table.  It's incumbent on you to impress the executive level leadership team during this presentation.  Once completed, the Franchise Approval Team will vote on your candidacy.  A unanimous verdict must be reached in order to be awarded a franchise.  Your verdict will be delivered by phone within 24 hours of completing your presentation.

STEP 6:

Awarding of franchise and signing of the Franchise Agreement.  Less than 5% of applicants to Honest Abe Roofing Franchise get to this step.  Getting awarded a franchise is a big deal!  But it's just the beginning.  From here you will begin your 13 week open process we call Your New NORM.
